UP guv recognises Pilibhit for humanitarian services during Covid on World Red Cross Day

PILIBHIT: Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel presented the certificates of appreciation of Red Cross society to Pilibhit’s district magistrate, Pulkit Khare and Red Cross society’s state body member, Kalim Athar on the occasion of World Red Cross Day in recognition of their services in society’s state-wide blood donation campaign and their selfless contributions in a fight against coronavirus pandemic. The function was held at Red Cross Bhawan in Lucknow on Sunday. Notably, the district's Red Cross society conducted a week-long blood donation campaign for Covid patients between August 8 and 14 in 2021.
